How the practice works

What you can expect

  • A named lawyer on every file

The person on the first call is the person who writes the opinion.

  • Scope in writing, first

Every engagement is defined by a deliverables list, a timetable and decision points.

  • Hebrew and English

Correspondence, documents and meetings in both, including with a European customer or investor.

  • Confidentiality

The lawyers owe a duty of confidentiality over everything you give us, and our workflow ensures complete confidentiality. Not every document produced during the work is automatically privileged; at the start of each engagement we explain how privilege applies to your file.

From exposure to control

  1. 1. Assess
  2. 2. Prioritize
  3. 3. Implement
  4. 4. Support
  1. Assess

An applicability opinion and a gap review: your personal-data flows and databases, mapped and assessed against the Privacy Protection Law and the Data Security Regulations. Where the duty to appoint an officer is in question, the answer is a reasoned written determination, either way.

  2. Prioritize

The findings become a gap list ranked by exposure, and the implementation work is set out in a written scope letter.

  3. Implement

The documentation gets written — database definitions, data security procedure, record of processing activities, privacy notice, data processing agreements in Hebrew and English, and an incident procedure — and is handed over in a session on the gaps and the order to address them.

  4. Support

Your choice: ongoing support or performance of the officer role. The lawyer who wrote the opinion stays on the file.
